I, Alexandr Lysenko, develop and administer this website, and also use active server as an email server - for sending personal emails and newsletters. Currently, this website is hosted by RUVDS (https://ruvds.com/), on the virtual private server (85.208.208.15) situated in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Handling of personal data is regulated by the Federal Law "On Personal Data" of the Russian Federation and international law. Administering this website as a natural person, I act according with my abilities and common sense. When visitors enter the website and navigate it, the web server automatically gathers information about the visitors into logs. This information includes: - a visitor's IP address, - the address of the requested page on the website, - the date and time of the visitor's access to that page, - the brief description of the browser, from which the access was requested. By using the website, you continue sending this information, and give me the agreement to work with your personal data as of a website visitor. When a person submits the subscription form, the database on the server side records: - the subscriber's email address, - their preferred language in newsletters, - the information showing the email is active, - the date and time of the last activity from this email. Some supplementary information about the subscriber is stored in the web server logs (e.g. the notification "Email with id 1 was added to the database."). By subscribing to newsletters, you give me the separate agreement to work with your personal data as of a subscriber. I might read and analyze logs and the database with visitor's information for the purpose of finding possible errors in how the website works, testing and improving the website. I don't share the visitors' information and its derivatives to third parties, and I don't use third parties' services for analysis, modification, or distribution using this information. The web server logs are stored for three months, then are deleted automatically. A subscriber's information is stored in the database until the subscriber follows the unsubsribe link in their newsletters, or until three years after the last activity from their email. If a newsletter doesn't reach a subscriber, the server marks thier email as inactive. I keep inactive emails in the database (for preventing spam) and incoming email messages for indefinite time. You can send me a personal request to alexandr@lysenko.blog. Sometimes I check my inbox inconsistently, and won't reply to your message immediately. I maintain the server generally for learning web technologies and as a hobby, therefore my website and email might be unavailable at times. 2025-03-31
